At Via Roma we deliver top level events that our customers love and that have the capacity to grow for future years. If you’re about to embark on an event for the first time we will happily help take the stress away, guiding you through what is required. This can include route planning, communication lines, risk assessments and on the day support, tailored to your event requirements. Part of this package can include full use of our event route signage.

Coaching

The Via Roma team can provide sessions to all levels of cyclists, whether you’re a commuting to work, cycling to keep fit or have specific targets for competitive events, Via Roma can help!

On top of our standard coaching sessions, we run high quality, tailored coaching weekends. These are for cyclists who are looking to embark on a cycling challenge, and to also provide useful information and advice. Mid-week breaks are also available, along with single day trips and seminars. Additionally, we can assist in your own events, offering "on-the-bike" advice and guidance.

My name is Grant Bayton and I’m the proud owner of Via Roma. I was born into the world of cycling; travelling around the UK seeing the great cyclists of the 80’s and 90’s with my father, Phil Bayton (Olympic cyclist). I have over 25 years of experience and for the last 5 years I've worked for British Cycling, helping event organisers in delivering cycling events, training volunteers and working with various authorities in safeguarding road racing on the open highway.
